Energy Efficient Mortgages could play central role in Europe’s new sustainable finance strategy

Energy efficient mortgages could play a central role in Europe’s new strategy for sustainable finance, states a EeMAP White Paper published today under the EU funded ‘Energy Efficient Mortgages Action Plan’ (EeMAP) Initiative – which sets out key recommendations towards the creation of an energy efficient mortgage product for Europe.

In producing this White Paper, EMF-ECBC has summarised the results of comprehensive research findings which are detailed in four underlying EeMAP Technical Reports on the same topics, and which constitute the basis of initial cross-sectorial conclusions and recommendations regarding the cornerstones of a future Energy Efficient Mortgage product.
